Rick and Vance have been working on a new song titled Escape from the Mines of Titan, and Vance has been working on doing an animated video for it. Below is an early demo. It has a demo version of the song, and a demo of the video. It’s not a finished product, but we thought you might like to see it anyway.

Escape from the mines of Titan Preview from Vance Gloster on Vimeo.

This is a preview of a video I am working on for the progressive rock band I play in, Gekko Projekt. Rick (the bass player of Gekko) and I put together a demo of the music, which is what you hear. And I am in the process of animating the action.

The story has to do with four prisoners working the mines of Titan (a moon of Saturn) who steal a space ship and escape. The heads of those prisoners will be played by the members of the band.

None of the animation is final. (There are numerous things I intend to fix.) And this is just the first few seconds. We intend to record the song for our second CD. Both the CD and the video are planned for 2012.

This was done in Hash’s great animation application, Animation Master.
